Today, I laid out in our "backyard". (It's not really a backyard, but more like a community backyard with part of the apartment complex.) Anyway, I went and laid out with Nelly this afternoon. Nelly loves the sun, and she especially loves laying in sun on the grass. So, I figured I'd loop Nelly's leash around the post holding the balcony above us up and she'd probably just sleep the whole time on the grass...
I was wrong. She didn't sleep on the grass hardly at all. She slept on my towel, right next to me, blocking part of me from the sun. :)
Half the time she had her head on my arm and the other half of the time she had her head on my leg. It was pretty funny. But, she loved every minute of it. Until I find a job, I can see this becoming a daily habit.
