Double Date!!

This is the first time I am blogging about something immediately after it happened, but I am just in such a good mood that I want to share it! And here's why:

Rob and I went on a date tonight!!

We usually don't go out very often, just because it is a lot of money to spend that we really don't need to. However, I feel that every once in a while, it is just needed!! So, tonight we went on a double date with Rob's friend Jay and my friend Caitlyn. It was actually a blind date for them, but I think it was wonderful. We all just had tons of fun together, so I was happy!!

First we picked Caitlyn up around 7:30, then drove up to Salt Lake City. We went ice skating at the outdoor rink at Galavan Plaza, and it was so much fun!! I've never been skating on an outdoor rink, so I was so excited!! We only skated for about 45 minutes, because they closed at 9, but we all thought it was perfect timing. Our feet were starting to hurt.

I love skating with Rob because I am just a little wobbly, so he holds my hand to help me out. :) I actually am not a bad skater, but when I'm holding onto him, I feel so much more comfortable and can go so much faster. I know I won't fall when I'm holding onto him, which is really nice.

So, after skating, we drove past Temple Square and glanced at the lights. Our original plan was to walk through them, but we were all really hungry. So, we started driving out of Salt Lake to beat the traffic from the Jazz game that had just ended. We saw Texas Roadhouse in Sandy, and Caitlyn and I decided that was what we wanted. :) It was the rolls that enticed me. I love their cinnamon butter, so I was happy. We were there for a while, and just had fun! We were a good group, and had fun talking, so I really enjoyed it.

After dinner, it was almost 10:30, so we decided it was time to head home. On the way home we listened to music, and Rob was as funny as ever. :) Although, when we were almost back to Provo, I got super tired!! So I ended up falling asleep. But that was about the end of our date so it was ok. We dropped Caitlyn off and headed back to our house. Now I'm laying in bed blogging. :)

I love Rob, and I love going out with him. It was a great night!

Plus, today was my last day of classes, so I'm super excited!!
