Jobs

It's either a complete drought, or it pours. That is how my job search has been going. I've been looking for a job for about 3 weeks now. Up until Saturday, I had nothing!! Then, all of the sudden, I have two, possibly three options, and I have to decided which one to take! I shouldn't be complaining because at least I have an option. But still, it's so difficult!!
  1. Bistro 258: Lunch waitress...Sally works there and got me hooked up, but I didn't think they were going to hire me because I hadn't heard from them in a week. So I kept applying to other places, and come to find out, they do want me. :) I would probably only work lunch shifts, and sometimes the lunch shifts aren't busy at all.
  2. Golds Gym: Nursery...Shellie, Rob's cousin, teaches classes at the gym and on Saturday introduced me to the person in charge of the nursery because they needed some more help. I am going in for an interview later today, but it seems like I already have the job. They said they'd get me right to work. :)
  3. Bob Harvey Roofing: Office Manager...I saw this job on LDSjobs.org and applied for it. It's mostly just receptionist and assistant duties, which I have experience in. Last week they emailed me saying thank you for applying and we will be calling soon for interviews. Today they emailed me saying they would like a phone interview, and I just got off the phone with them. I don't know if I will be offered this job, but if I do, I think I definitely want this one!! The interview went great, and I think he was really impressed at my experience! Also, according to what was online, it pays more than any of my other options, and would look better on my resume than the other two.
Here's my dilemma...Sally has been begging the Bistro to hire me, so if I turn that one down, I feel I will put her in a bad position. Shellie personally took me into the gym and the lady said "well since you come so highly recommended, come in Monday for an interview and we'll get you right to work." I don't want to put Shellie in a bad position if I bail on that one. However, I would much rather work as an office manager than a nursery worker or a waitress.

I think when I'm at my interview with Golds Gym this afternoon, I'm just going to be honest and tell them I have an interview with another company. I'm a little worried though, because it doesn't seem like it will be a normal interview where I would have the perfect time to tell them that information.

I'm so torn...
