Well, it's been a super long time since I've been on here to update this. So, I'll sum up how the year ended for us in this post.
We bought our house and closed on it on December 8th. We moved in the 9th and absolutely love it! It was so nice the first night we were there to have it pitch black in our bedroom when we were going to sleep. There were no outside apartment lights on, and it was great. The best, however, was the next morning when it was completely silent before we all woke up. I couldn't hear anyone above us or next to us making any noise. I loved it! The house is pretty much all unpacked and is starting to come together really nicely. All we have to do now is decorate the walls. (I saved that for last cause I think that's even harder than unpacking is.)
I started a new job December 19th. I went from a teller to an accounting assistant in the accounting department at Westmark Credit Union. I love it! I work Monday through Friday, 8 to 5. I have my own office, and on top of it all, I love the work I'm doing. My supervisor and coworkers are great and fun to work with.
My family came into town for Christmas. My parents got here a week before Christmas and my brother with his wife just a few days before Christmas. We had a great Christmas day and a fun few days after too. We all went snowmobiling last Wednesday up in Island Park (except for Rob who couldn't get off work.) We went out to a few movies: The Three Musketeers, Mission Impossible 4, and Sherlock Holmes. It was a fun trip.
Ryan and Amber just left on Friday and on Saturday, Rob and I left to come down to Huntsville. We spent New Years Eve with Rob's family and celebrated our Christmas after midnight on New Years Eve. Rob will be here till Thursday because he has a work meeting Wednesday evening, but I have to leave tonight because I have to get back to work tomorrow. I'm riding the shuttle though, so at least I don't have to drive alone tonight. I just get to ride along and sleep. (It was way cheaper than bringing 2 cars down here.)
My parents moved Amie up to BYU Idaho today so it'll be kind of empty without her there anymore. My parents will be here for a few more days and then head out to California. It was a fun last month!
I'm really excited for 2012 in our new house with my new job! Lots of changes happened for us lately!!
