It's been a while since I've been on here to update things and I apologize! More for myself than anyone else. I try to use this as a journal, and if I only get on here once a month, I'm bound to forget certain things.
Going back to the middle of October:
We carved pumpkins for Halloween with some friends from our ward! It was a lot of fun. I think this is the first Jack-o-Lantern I have ever made. I normally just use the patterns and yeah the pumpkins look awesome, but it's not natural. This time, I just had a knife, and started carving. I was quite proud of the outcome also!

When we were done, I went through and took a ton of pumpkin seeds home with me to roast. I'd never roasted them myself before
and wanted to try it out. Rob's is the spider in the top left corner, and mine is the Jack-o-Lantern right next to his. It was a lot of fun!
Shortly after that, Rob's family came up to visit us the weekend before his birthday. It was so much fun! His parents and Lizzy stayed with us Friday to Sunday. We were really sad to see them go. They got up here Friday night and we first went to the Temple
, then out to dinner. Saturday we all got up and went to Bear World in Rigby. It was really neat! We drove through the park and saw tons of wildlife, including at least 30 bears. They were walking right next to our truck, and poor Nelly was going crazy. She wanted to go play with them so bad. We then walked through and saw the baby cubs. We watched them for a while because they were really good at pu
tting on shows, then we went into the petting zoo and fed the deer! That was pretty neat. After the petting zoo, we drove to Kelly Canyon for a little scenic view and then headed back. (The whole escapade lasted about 6 hours.)
After making a quick run to the grocery store for dinner things for Sunday, we all relaxed and crashed. Sunday, we headed to church, and when we got back, Linda made dinner for Rob's birthday. It was ribs, potatoes, spinach salad, rolls, and I can't remember the rest. It's his favorite and he was super excited. After dinner, they had to take off to go back to Utah. It was a lot of fun having them visit!
For Rob's birthday, he wanted to go shopping, so we went to Sportsman Wearhouse and Cal Ranch. He bought some more outdoors things, because I guess he didn't get enough for his birthday. :) On the way home, we got Domino's for dinner. It was his choice. It was a good night.

The next week was Halloween! My neighbor, Jill, Amie, and I, including Nelly and Finneas, Jill's dog, all dressed up and went trick-or-treating. I was a Leggo, Amie was a stick figure, Jill was a pirate, Nelly was a pumpkin, and Finn was a salty sea dog. :) It was amazingly fun.

We only went to maybe 20 houses, and didn't have much to show for it, but we got what we wanted and had fun!
After trick-or-treating, we had a wii party at our place with Jill's wii. It was super fun. (I remember when I went to take off my costume, I couldn't get it off. I'd gotten my arms into the middle when Rob came up to me and just threw me over onto the ground. I didn't have any arms available, so I couldn't even catch myself. Then he grabbed my feet and drug me right out of the box. It was hilarious, but got the job done. I was struggling, and he fixed the problem. Haha!)
Now, onto our latest adventure! We're buying a house! It's gorgeous, built in 2005, and perfect for us. I'll post more about that tomorrow!!
