So, today in my English class, my professor (who an older, very small, and quiet gentleman) told me he emailed me with my essay and his revisions. I checked my email on my phone, but hadn't received it. So I let him know, and just asked him to send it again. He said he would.
Then, this afternoon, I got his email that asked for a reply confirmation. I was in the middle of a nap, so I was half asleep. But I thought I'd just write a short response so he knew I had gotten his email. Well, an hour later, this is the response I got from him:

"Thanks for your reply, but I can't decipher 'me re uses rewrite'."
I was astonished! And confused! So I looked at what I had sent him, and here is it:
"I received this email with me re uses rewrite. Thanks."
I was so embarrassed!! I guess I wasn't awake enough to send an email. So I responded and told him how sorry I was and that I was half asleep. At least he's a funny guy, so he might just laugh at it. I do wish it hadn't been my English professor though.
So, the moral of the story: Don't send emails when half asleep.
