I went to California!! I flew out Wednesday evening, and was there until early Monday morning when I had to get back to my classes. I got to spend time with both my mom and my brother and his family. It was really fun. I have 3 nieces, one who is only 6 weeks old, and it was really good to see them all.
Alexa loved playing with me, and Chloe wanted to do everything that Alexa did, so it was an adventure. They even both stayed a night with my mom and I in the hotel, and were really good. They shared one bed in the hotel room, and I woke up at 6:30 to Chloe walking around the room. At Alexa's birthday party the day before, she got a Cinderella doll that sings a song, and she slept with it on the nightstand. However, at 6:30 in the morning, Chloe woke up, got out of bed, and took Alexa's doll. She walked back over to her side of the bed and was pushing the button to make her sing over and over. I got out, and told her she needed to get back in bed. She just looked at me. :) So I asked her if I could pick her up and put her back in bed next to her baby doll, and she nodded her head. I got her tucked back in bed, knowing she probably wouldn't fall back asleep. But, she did lay there silent and still for almost 45 minutes! She is such a good little kid.

Alexa wanted me to read to her almost every night we were there. It was cute.
She was also really hyper at certain times.
Alexa loved cuddling with my while I was holding Baby Penelope.

She loved that doll, and fed it so well!!

I had an awesome trip and am so grateful I was able to go...Now I'm home and back to school and work. Work I don't mind at all, but school - it really bothers me. I just keep telling myself the semester is almost over. And it really is. We have all of this week, but then next week is Thanksgiving Break, and we only have 2 weeks of classes after that!! It doesn't seem as bad when I look at it that way!!
